10 Powerful Ways to Raise Your Vibrations

The quantity and quality of our energy flow deeply affects our emotions, thoughts and reactions. The quality of our relationships, productivity, creativity and health all depend upon our vibe energy. The following techniques and ways of life will aid us in building a freer and more positive energy flow and raise your vibrations.

When we talk about raising your vibrations, we are not talking about toxic positivity and bypassing your emotions. We are talking about daily habits or rituals that can help you connect with your inner knowing/self and in turn it helps you raise your vibrations and the outcome isn’t just the energy you get flowing but can help you reconnect to gratitude, process big emotions, and help you develop healthy coping skills when life gets stormy (cuz it does!)

*note – physical imbalances like hormones or low vitamin/minerals also impact our emotions, thoughts, and energy levels. If you feel off in a major way please seek medical attention to make sure there is nothing going on in your physical body. We gotta make sure we are taking care of ourselves body, mind, and soul.

1. Proper Diet: Few of us realize the powerful effect of a proper diet not only on our physical health but also on our emotional, mental, and spiritual states. A clean diet can create greater health, more positive emotional states, clearer mental functioning, and increased spiritual attunement.  This means getting the amount of protein you need, making sure you get your fruits and veggies in, and easing back on over processed over sugared foods that aren’t fueling you.  Eat for fuel.

2. Herbs and Flower Essence: Some herbs can be very calming and/or invigorating, offering an extra boost that may give us the optimism we need to make internal changes. Dandelion Root tea, Chamomile tea, and Ashwagandha tea are some of my favorite essences that help my body feel refreshed and my nervous system calm.

3. Daily Physical Exercise: The body is a living machine, and like all machines, it needs to move or it will begin to develop problems. Exercise is essential not only for a healthy muscular, skeletal, and circulatory system but gives you an endorphin dose!  Endorphins are considered the body’s natural painkillers and have been shown to help relieve pain, reduce stress, and improve mood and well-being.  If you can get outside for even just a 15-minute walk or yoga stretch you are getting sunshine and movement, two birds one stone!

4. Breathing Techniques: These are essential for the abundant flow of vital energy throughout the body and mind. Bio-energy is the basis of all physical and mental functions. Breathing exercises can supercharge your energy and keep you feeling balanced and upbeat! They’re like a secret weapon against stress and sickness. But before you dive in, it's wise to get some tips from an expert who knows their stuff. Look for a pro who is certified in breathwork, if you have a possibility of trauma being opened up by these exercises, it is recommended to work directly with a trauma informed expert.

5. Daily Deep Relaxation: Taking time each day to deeply relax can do wonders for your muscles, nerves, and entire body, rejuvenating both your body and mind. When combined with other techniques, deep relaxation not only helps build a strong and healthy immune system but is a form of self-care. Relaxing feels like the ultimate rebellion in a world where productivity and hustle reign so get that rebel some rest!

6. Creative Self-Expression: Unleashing our creativity is far more vital to our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being than most of us realize. As inherently creative beings, we’re here on Earth to bring something new into the world. Whether it’s a painting, a song, a dance, a family, or a business, our acts of creation fuel our health, harmony, and happiness. Embrace your inner artist and let your creativity flow—it’s essential for your well-being! For those of us that aren’t artistic (me!) I personally choose coloring in an adult coloring book or sometimes if I can pull my tween from the video games, playing a board or card game. This gives your brain a break from problem-solving, relaxes your body to be present, and allows the creative juices to flow.

7. Calm Bathing: One simple method is to increase the number of showers or baths. Contact with water can be healing and calming. Extra benefits include stress relief, muscle relaxation, improved sleep, mental clarity (a lot of people claim to get their best ideas in the shower or bath), and if you take the bath to the next level with a bath bomb or Epsom salts there is a small level of detoxification, heat also increases blood flow helping to deliver oxygen and nutrients to cells more efficiently.

8. Spiritual Orientation: Each of us has a unique personal connection with the universe. Whether or not we follow a specific religion, nurturing our relationship with the greater whole—be it humanity, nature, or Spirit—is essential for our inner balance and well-being.  A few examples of how to do this would be pulling cards if you use Tarot or Oracle, saying a prayer to the deity you work with or believe in, connecting with your angels, or even just standing on the grass and connecting to momma earth.

9. Enlightening The Subconscious: This aspect of self-improvement usually requires an experienced professional who can help us reprogram the subconscious with positive, more objective beliefs and perceptions of ourselves, others, and the world. This professional can be a life coach, therapist, holistic practitioner, or other trained professional who can help us navigate through our conditioning and provide a safe space to heal and challenge our inner critic (we all have one) with new skills.

10. Unconditional Love: Showing this towards ourselves and others is the ultimate key to a high and harmonious energy flow. Getting started on loving ourselves can feel really uncomfortable, we are usually taught that self-love is a form of vanity but being able to look at yourself and say “I love you” is a way to connect with ourselves that is sorely underestimated. If saying it to yourself feels like a stretch, write it on your mirror or a Post-it note where you can see it regularly. Another get-going tactic is to write in your journal or other place of the things that made you awesome that day, this too helps reprogram your inner critic and be able to see how lovable of a human you really are.

In conclusion, raising your vibrations is a holistic journey that encompasses mindful practices, nurturing self-care, and deep spiritual connections. By integrating the techniques we have listed above into your daily routine, you can elevate your energy and enhance your well-being. Remember, the key is consistency (not perfection!) and a genuine commitment to yourself. Embrace this transformative journey with an open heart, and watch as your life transforms into a harmonious and vibrant existence. Start raising your vibrations today and unlock the potential you have within!
